Great to meet you!

Are you looking for care that feels experienced, steady, and truly supportive? I’ve been a nurse for over 30 years, a nurse practitioner for 20 years, and a psychiatric nurse practitioner for the past two—and I truly love this work. Have you been wondering what it might feel like to work with someone who brings both experience and genuine care into each visit? My background in acute care and long-term health management allows me to see the whole picture, not just symptoms. I approach each client with the same compassion, respect, and thoughtfulness I would offer my own family.

My approach to therapy

My approach to providing care is collaborative and team-based. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and your voice, preferences, and goals are central to our work together. We will talk openly about what you hope to achieve from treatment and what feels most important to you. From there, we’ll create a plan together—adjusting along the way as your needs evolve—so you feel informed, respected, and empowered in every decision about your care.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a welcoming, supportive space where we’ll take time to get to know you as a whole person—not just your symptoms. We’ll talk about what’s been bringing you in, your history, and what you hope to gain from care. You’ll have the opportunity to share your concerns, ask questions, and discuss your goals for treatment. Together, we’ll begin building a personalized plan that may include thoughtful medication management and integrated talk therapy, always guided by your preferences and comfort level.

If you’re feeling ready to take the next step, I invite you to schedule a session and begin this journey toward feeling more supported and well.
