Great to meet you!

I am committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel comfortable being yourself. I understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating, and I strive to meet you with compassion, respect, and genuine curiosity about your experiences.

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and have been working in the mental health field for over 15 years, including 7 years in private practice. My experience has allowed me to work with a diverse range of clients and concerns, and I bring that knowledge into our work together in a thoughtful and individualized way.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each individual’s unique needs. I believe that you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to support, guide, and provide tools to help you better understand your experiences and create meaningful change.

I primarily use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). These approaches can help you identify patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, develop effective coping skills, and process difficult or traumatic experiences.

My goal is to help you gain insight, build resilience, and feel more balanced, connected, and in control of your life

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, supportive space. We will start by reviewing important information such as confidentiality, your rights as a client, and the structure of therapy.

During the session, I will ask questions to better understand what brings you to therapy, including your current concerns, personal history, and goals for treatment. You are welcome to share at your own pace—there is no pressure to discuss anything before you feel ready.

You will have time to ask any questions about the therapy process, and we may discuss potential approaches (such as CBT, DBT, or other evidence-based methods) that could be helpful for you.

Most importantly, the first session is about creating a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard and supported.
