Great to meet you!

I am a compassionate mental health professional who is committed to helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges with clarity, resilience, and purpose. I bring a strong background in counseling and psychology, with experience supporting clients across a range of concerns including depression, anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship issues, trauma and emotional regulation.

My education and training have equipped me with a solid foundation in evidence-based therapeutic approaches, and I tailor treatment to meet each client’s unique needs, strengths, and goals. I value creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to grow.

My therapeutic style is collaborative and client-centered, integrating practical tools with deeper emotional insight. I believe healing happens through connection, self-awareness, and intentional action, and I strive to walk alongside clients as they build healthier patterns and greater confidence in themselves.

Above all, clients should know that I am dedicated to meeting them where they are and supporting them with professionalism, empathy, and authenticity throughout their therapeutic journey.

My approach to therapy

I integrate evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, somatic practices and solution-focused strategies, tailoring interventions to each client’s unique needs. I focus on helping clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and past experiences, while also building coping skills that support emotional regulation, resilience, and healthy relationships.

My style is warm, supportive, and structured, balancing validation with gentle challenge. I strive to create a nonjudgmental space where clients can process life transitions, anxiety, depression, stress, and identity-related concerns. I also emphasize self-awareness, boundary-setting, and empowerment, particularly for individuals navigating family dynamics, faith-related concerns, or systemic and cultural stressors.

I am especially passionate about working with young adults and adults experiencing anxiety, life transitions, burnout, and emotional overwhelm. When relevant, I respectfully incorporate clients’ values and spiritual beliefs into the therapeutic process, recognizing faith and meaning as potential sources of strength and healing.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where they feel heard and respected. The first session is focused on building rapport and creating a safe space for open conversation. We’ll spend time discussing what brought them in, their current concerns, and what they hope to gain from our work together.

I typically help clients clarify their goals for therapy and identify immediate priorities, while also exploring strengths and coping strategies they may already have. Together, we’ll begin outlining realistic, collaborative goals that align with their values and needs.

Clients can also expect transparency about the therapeutic process, confidentiality, and what future sessions may look like. My goal is for clients to leave the first session feeling understood, supported, and hopeful, with a clearer sense of direction and next steps.
