Great to meet you!

Hello! I am a graduate of Michigan State University and have been working in the field of Social Work for over 15+ years. I work with age groups ranging from adolescents to older adults. I am especially passionate about helping adults of any age dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, grief, or difficulty adjusting to change.

My approach to therapy

I frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy & Motivational Interviewing in my work with clients. I also incorporate a systematic approach to therapy that provides a way for clients to numerically rate their current functional status in a particular area that connects with their treatment (Tx) goal(s) and where they hope to be at the end of Tx. This provides a clear system to track progress, address barriers and provide the support needed to move forward toward the desire goal(s).

What you can expect from me

My down to earth and personable demeanor helps to create a safe environment where clients feel comfortable opening up to share their challenges. Typical client outcomes include: developing better coping skills, decrease in symptom severity, better understand of what is important to them, and the barriers to their progress.
