Great to meet you!

People seek therapy for many different reasons, and finding the right person to guide you through the process can feel daunting. With 12 years of experience counseling teens and young adults as a school social worker and therapist—and 15 years prior working across all ages and demographics—I bring a versatile background to my practice. I also know that for some, it is important to feel like your therapist truly 'gets it.' My own life journey informs my understanding of marriage, positive divorce, parenting and co-parenting, navigating sexuality, coping with grief and loss, and balancing work and life.

My approach to therapy

Therapy is a deeply personal experience, and you are the expert of your own story. By prioritizing our therapeutic connection, we build the mutual trust needed to ensure our time together feels safe, comfortable, and productive. My style is collaborative, strength-based, and centered on what you wish to address. Rooted in a trauma-informed framework, I blend cognitive-behavioral tools, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness to best support you.

What you can expect from me

In our initial session, we will start getting to know each other and begin the conversation about what brings you to therapy. There is no pressure to share everything right away; you guide the narrative. This time is about building trust and for you to decide if we are a good match.
