Great to meet you!

Life can feel overwhelming when anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, family stress, or major life transitions begin affecting your emotional well-being. You may feel exhausted from trying to meet everyone's needs, struggling with difficult emotions, navigating changes in your relationships, or searching for a greater sense of balance and purpose. I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress management concerns, relationship issues, women's issues, grief and loss, maternal mental health challenges, family conflict, and life transitions. My approach recognizes the connection between emotional, physical, relational, and spiritual wellness, helping clients explore the factors that influence their overall quality of life. For those seeking faith-based counseling, I welcome opportunities to incorporate Christian values and spiritual perspectives into the therapeutic process. Inspired by Jeremiah 30:17, "I will restore you to health and heal your wounds," I believe healing and growth are possible even during life's most challenging seasons. Together, we'll build practical tools, strengthen resilience, and create a path toward lasting emotional wellness. Aloha!

My approach to therapy

My approach is holistic, compassionate, and tailored to the unique needs of each individual, couple, or family. I believe healing occurs when clients feel supported, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Family Therapy, Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy (IBCT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Motivational Interviewing, Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Relational Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, and Trauma-Informed approaches to create an individualized treatment experience. Together, we'll explore the thoughts, emotions, relationships, and experiences that may be contributing to current challenges while developing healthier coping strategies and communication skills. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, grief, family stress, maternal mental health challenges, or personal growth goals, therapy will focus on helping you build resilience, strengthen relationships, and create sustainable positive change.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a warm, supportive, and collaborative environment where you feel respected, valued, and heard. I strive to create a safe space where you can openly discuss challenges, gain insight into your experiences, and work toward meaningful goals at a pace that feels comfortable for you. As we work together, you may develop healthier coping skills, stronger communication patterns, improved emotional regulation, increased confidence, and deeper connections within your relationships. My goal is to help you feel empowered to navigate life's challenges with greater clarity and resilience while building a foundation for long-term emotional, relational, and personal well-being.
