Great to meet you!

Do you deal with people who are impossible to please or emotionally unavailable? Do you often feel like the outsider? I enjoy working with those who have experienced relationship issues, emotional neglect, and codependency. As a fellow empath, I understand the challenges of feeling everything more deeply. I can guide you to see your sensitivities as gifts that can help you to develop stronger boundaries and healthier relationships.

My approach to therapy

I use a strengths-based approach in therapy which focuses more on your internal strengths and resourcefulness and less on weaknesses, failures, and shortcomings. You might not see your strengths well now but we can work on recognizing and developing them. You are the expert in your life, and I will assist you in developing goals that help you to succeed and thrive in life. I help people overcome challenges and not just manage them. Who wants to just "manage" depression or anxiety?

What you can expect from me

I utilize a mix of therapeutic styles that focus on understanding your story, then helping you to develop new strengths and tools to rewrite your own narrative. Making the decision to start therapy is a brave and powerful step to take at anytime, but especially so during challenging times.
