Great to meet you!

I am passionate about helping individuals and families find joy, meaning, and connection in their lives. I completed my graduate training at The University of Chicago, and have received additional post-graduate training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) including Somatic IFS, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT and more.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in using "parts work" or "Internal Family Systems" to understand habitual ways of responding and develop new ways of relating to ourself and others. As a Buddhist practitioner, my work is informed by my own spiritual practice and other psychological modalities that intersect with and support internal growth and healing. Sessions often include some guided mindfulness practice and may also include expressive arts such as sketching or sandtray.

What you can expect from me

Most clients I see are working through some kind of trauma, whether that is "big T" or "little t" trauma. This can show up as anxiety, depression, relationship problems, or even chronic pain or fatigue. Building compassion and tenderness towards these parts where we get stuck allows for a renewed sense of freedom, freshness, and possibility in our lives.
