Great to meet you!
Hello! I have been fortunate enough to have worked in one of the most vibrant and diverse cities in the world as well as small, rural communities. My professional opportunities have provided me with an appreciation of how difficult, as well as how incredibly beautiful, life can be. I believe that open, honest and thought-provoking dialogue can change lives. And while the process in achieving a stronger and clearer outlook on life is typically not an easy journey, the benefits can be lifelong.
Since achieving a master's degree in social work, I have worked in a hospital, for a community mental health center, and for an agency which serves people diagnosed with HIV/AIDS who are struggling in meeting their basic needs. After achieving a bachelor's degree in psychology/counseling I worked in a foster care/adoption agency, and with children and adults diagnosed with an emotional/mental health disorder.
