Hello, my name is Laura Riness. I have a Ph.D in Psychology and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I have worked in the mental health field for 7 years. I have most enjoyed getting to know my clients and working with them to create the most healthy version of themselves.
I am very conversational with my clients, and I tend to take a solutions-oriented approach. I also look at the factors that have brought the client to see me for therapy. I specialize in depression, anxiety and panic, adjustment disorder, and adoption-related issues. I am also comfortable approaching therapy from a Christian perspective.
My goal is that clients end each session motivated and confident they have been heard. We will work together to set and reach your goals respectfully, trustfully, and authentic manner.
