I am a licensed clinical social worker and have been in private practice for 5 years. I worked in the addiction field for over 10 years prior to opening my practice. I work with teens and adults of all ages and genders. I specialize in addiction, ADHD, life transitions and relationship issues.
My approach values the importance of the therapeutic relationship. I want us to connect in a way that feels empowering, collaborative and safe. I engage with my clients with humor and authenticity. I use a range of interventions, tailoring my approach to best suit the treatment goals and needs of each individual client. I tend to focus on a holistic approach that centers on wellness and the mind-body connection
The stories we tend to hold about ourselves can shape our views about the world and our place in it. I am here to help you identify those unconscious beliefs you have about yourself and examine how these beliefs might be holding you back. Often when you are struggling it can feel like you are your own worst enemy. My hope is to help you work with your brain rather than against it.
