Great to meet you!

Life has been feeling unbearably messy. Maybe it's a cancer diagnosis keeping you up at night, or anxiety, grief, a relationship strained past its limits, or a life that suddenly looks nothing like you planned. I help people facing serious illness, life transitions, and the stress that comes with them find calm and make peace with uncertainty. If you're a patient, a caregiver, or someone just trying to hold it together, there's a place for you here.

I’m a licensed clinical social worker and certified oncology social worker with over a decade of experience supporting individuals navigating cancer, chronic illness, grief, anxiety, trauma, and major life transitions. My approach is compassionate, honest, and grounded in the belief that you are more than a diagnosis or difficult season. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, understood, and supported without judgment. I value authenticity in the therapeutic relationship and believe healing happens through connection, collaboration, and practical support that meets you where you are.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your specific needs. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling emotionally drained, stuck in survival mode, consumed by worry, disconnected from themselves, or unsure how to cope with the uncertainty of what lies ahead. Together, we work to process difficult emotions, reduce anxiety, strengthen coping skills, and create space for healing and self-compassion. I utilize evidence-based approaches including CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), mindfulness, and strengths-based therapy to help clients feel more emotionally supported, regulated, and empowered in their daily lives. Therapy is not about “fixing” you, it is about helping you feel more supported, understood, and equipped to navigate what you are facing.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to get to know one another and begin building a foundation of trust. Clients can expect a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where they can share their story at their own pace. We’ll discuss what brings you to therapy, current stressors, personal history, strengths, and goals for treatment. I also leave space for questions about the therapy process so clients can feel informed and comfortable moving forward. My goal is for clients to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the work we’ll do together.
