Laura Tomaszewski

Hi, I'm Laura! I've been working as a counselor since 2012. I specialize in substance use disorders, codependency, crisis management, depression, anxiety, adolescents, assertiveness training, domestic violence/intimate partner violence, and infertility.

I am in my 40's. I'm a parent. I consider myself open-minded and nonjudgmental; there is nothing that you can say that will shock me or make me think less of you as a person.

I ask a lot of questions and reflect back to aid in processing and the generation of insight. I also like to challenge unhelpful thoughts and reframe. I love helping clients find solutions and consider all options available.

Sometimes clients need to process, other times they want goal setting. I follow what the client wants to do for the session but may lead if they are unsure of how to approach it.
