Great to meet you!

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel difficult, but you don’t have to navigate challenging seasons alone. I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience supporting adolescents and adults through anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief and loss, life transitions, and relationship and family concerns.

As a Certified Grief Educator, I have a particular passion for helping people navigate grief and loss. I understand that grief is not linear and that everyone experiences loss differently. Together, we can create a supportive, compassionate space where you can process your emotions, make sense of your experiences, and find ways to move forward while honoring the people and relationships you’ve lost.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized. I use evidence-based strategies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and DBT-informed coping skills, along with practical tools you can use in everyday life. We may also focus on emotional regulation, communication, boundaries, coping strategies, and building confidence.

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety or depression, adjusting to a major life transition, working through relationship concerns, or trying to find your way through grief, therapy can provide a place to feel heard, supported, and understood. I would be honored to support you along the way.

My approach to therapy

Therapy should be a place where you feel heard, understood, and accepted without judgment. I work with each client as an individual and tailor treatment to your specific needs, goals, and experiences.

In our sessions, we’ll focus not only on understanding where challenges come from, but also on developing practical skills and meaningful strategies for managing them. I’ll meet you where you are, help you feel comfortable being yourself, and work alongside you toward meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my goal is to create a comfortable, welcoming environment where you can begin to feel at ease. We’ll take time to get to know you, understand what brought you to therapy, and discuss the concerns you’d like support with.

We’ll also talk about your goals and what you hope to gain from therapy. You don’t need to have everything figured out before your first appointment. We can take things at your pace and determine together what would be most helpful to focus on.
