Great to meet you!

In my time as a therapist so far, I have experience helping clients of all ages with concerns like body image, disordered eating, anxiety, depression, grief, chronic illness, career stress, becoming a caregiver for a loved one, & general life stress. I also have extensive training in Brainspotting for trauma work. My passions include helping clients navigate recovery from an eating disorder, improve body image, create sustainable & fulfilling relationships, build self-esteem, and heal from trauma. I also have a specialty in working with clients who are first responders or mental health professionals themselves!

NOTE: Headway's calendar does not sync constantly with mine, so it's not always a completely accurate reflection of my most up-to-date availability. Feel free to select a time for a consult call from the times listed, but please note that I may reach out to you to offer alternative times if there is a scheduling conflict with the time you chose! If you prefer to jump right in with getting set up for scheduling an initial appointment or have any questions, I can be reached via email at: [email protected]

My approach to therapy

My approach is tailored to be unique to you. Finding the right fit in therapy is crucial to achieving your goals, so I aim to create a safe space where we can work together to build coping skills, meaningful connections to yourself & others, and ultimately a life that you fully enjoy living. I often pull from evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as ACT, CBT, and IFS, but I also integrate somatic work where appropriate. I believe therapy is a collaborative process and view us as partners in the therapeutic journey, so my overall therapeutic style is very relational. While I do have my own clinical skillset, you are the expert on you, and nothing takes precedence over that.

What you can expect from me

You deserve to feel seen and valued. As your therapist I will validate you and challenge you where appropriate-hopefully with a little humor mixed in! Together, we'll work on things like processing past stressors/trauma, building coping skills, and improving relationships in your life through communication and appropriate boundary-setting.

"What we don't need in the midst of struggle is shame for being human." -Brene Brown
