Great to meet you!

“Healing is revolutionary act” Michael Meade

Hi, I’m Lauren. I am so glad you are looking to start therapy. The searching can be so confusing and frustrating, so I recognize that you are taking a big and emotional step. I am passionate about my work with individuals who have a history of trauma, addiction, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, ADHD, mood-disorders, and BPD. I enjoy being able to encourage my clients as they become more aware of their strengths and unique qualities. It's not often we have unconditional support from others which is why counselors often help us navigate our way towards self-acceptance and self-love.

My approach to therapy

I help my clients recognize their strengths, identify what changes they want to make, and have the courage to go after their goals. I use Choice/Reality therapy, DBT, IFS, and Motivational Interviewing.

What you can expect from me

I want my clients to walk away from sessions empowered to handle life's challenges. My favorite thing is helping clients see themselves and their situations more clearly - we are often our hardest critics!
