Hi! My name is Lauren, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Baltimore, MD. I am currently pursuing my Doctor of Social Work (DSW) at Morgan State University. I have over four years of experience providing therapy, along with a professional background in crisis intervention services. My passion for this work grew through serving young people and seeing firsthand the difference it can make when someone feels heard, supported, and understood.
I specialize in working with teens and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem, relationships, identity, family dynamics, and life transitions. My approach is supportive, relatable, and practical, incorporating DBT skills, Motivational Interviewing, supportive therapy, and trauma-informed care based on each client’s needs. My goal is to help you recognize your strengths, better understand yourself, and develop tools that support meaningful growth and lasting change.
Your first session is about getting comfortable, getting to know each other, and understanding what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about what’s been going on, what you’d like to change, and what you hope to gain from our time together. You don’t have to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say. My goal is to create a judgment-free space where you can be yourself, feel heard, and begin identifying goals that feel realistic and meaningful to you.
