Great to meet you!

Reaching out for help can feel vulnerable, and I believe everyone deserves to feel genuinely heard, respected, and understood. My goal is to create a warm, relaxed, and nonjudgmental space where you can talk openly about what you’re going through without feeling rushed or dismissed.

Before becoming a psychiatrist, I worked as a social worker, and that experience remains an important part of how I practice today. It gave me an appreciation for the complex ways that relationships, life experiences, stressors, and personal strengths influence mental health. Combined with my psychiatric training, it allows me to approach treatment from both a medical and whole-person perspective.

I offer both medication management and a more comprehensive therapy-and-medication approach, depending on each person’s needs and preferences. Some people are primarily looking for thoughtful medication management, while others want a deeper therapeutic relationship alongside medication support. Regardless of the type of care, I believe in taking the time to genuinely connect, check in, and understand how each individual is doing as a person — not just a checklist of symptoms.

Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, trauma, relationship difficulties, or simply feeling stuck, we work together to understand better what’s going on and find an approach that feels right for you. When helpful, medication management can be incorporated thoughtfully and carefully as part of treatment, always with attention to your individual needs and goals.

My hope is for each person to leave sessions feeling supported, understood, and a little less alone in what they’re carrying.

My approach to therapy

I believe mind and body are deeply connected. I provide thoughtful medication management when needed, along with a holistic approach that considers your experiences, relationships, health, and lifestyle. Together, we’ll work toward both symptom relief and lasting well-being.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a comprehensive, unhurried medical and psychiatric evaluation. We will discuss your history, explore your physical and emotional health, and address immediate concerns. You can expect a gentle, collaborative dialogue as we co-create a personalized treatment plan.
