Great to meet you!

Welcome – I look forward to connecting with you. I’m a licensed clinical mental health counselor and graduate of Long Island University’s clinical mental health counseling program. I specialize in (and genuinely enjoy) helping others with anxiety disorders and obsessive compulsive disorder. I bring an eclectic approach to sessions which often includes applying my training and experience in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), which is the "gold standard" for treatment of OCD.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens when you feel understood and supported in taking steps toward living the life you desire. I also believe there is room for authenticity and humor in the therapy space. I’ll meet you where you are, celebrate your progress, and, when appropriate, laugh with you along the way. Ultimately, my goal isn't to help you build a life completely free from anxiety or difficult emotions. It's to help you build the skills, confidence, and self-trust to choose to keep going even when challenges arise.

What you can expect from me

  • Genuine connection - Getting to know the real you is important to me; success begins with the therapeutic relationship.
  • Knowledge is power - you can expect to learn about your presenting problems and how evidenced-based approaches can be applied.
  • Collaboration - we will work together to identify treatment goals that will pave a path toward growth and healing.
