Great to meet you!

I have over six years of experience treating clients across the life spectrum. I take a client-focused, relational, empathetic, and trauma-informed approach with each client. I believe that—through a positive and safe therapist-client relationship—client-directed change can not only occur but be maintained over time.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is best described as humanistic and relational. During our work together, I will predominantly utilize the framework of Internal Family Systems therapy. I take a collaborative approach to our work together, including providing psychoeducation on the purpose of therapeutic interventions I'll use in session, getting client consent on an ongoing basis, and regularly soliciting feedback about how the process is working (or not working) for you.

What you can expect from me

During our first session together, we'll begin by gathering a history of what brings you to therapy, what you hope to achieve (both short and long term goal-setting), and reviewing what was helpful and unhelpful about any past therapy experiences. I'll get an overview of the major systems that impact your daily life (your family of origin, any current relationships/friendships, your workplace). Then, we'll begin developing our unique therapeutic relationship!
