Great to meet you!

I was born and raised on Maui and work to create a warm, open, and non-judgmental space in our sessions. With training and experience as a teacher and school counselor, I enjoy connecting with clients of all ages and understanding their unique strengths and challenges. In sessions, I like to share a variety of strategies and techniques, including mindfulness and visualization exercises, to help clients explore their goals, build resilience, and take meaningful steps toward growth. My aim is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered.

My approach to therapy

I take a holistic and compassionate approach to therapy, recognizing that each person’s experiences are shaped by their biological, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual background. I believe therapy should be a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to explore challenges while also discovering their strengths and values.

I draw from evidence-based strategies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment strategies, Solution-Focused approaches, mindfulness, and compassion-focused practices. I am able to integrate clients’ spiritual and cultural values into the therapeutic process.

At the heart of my work is empowerment: helping clients clarify their goals, build practical strategies, and stay accountable in ways that foster growth and healing.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions, my focus is creating a safe, compassionate, and empowering space where one can feel truly heard and supported. It is important for me to meet one where they are with non-judgment and genuine care. Together, we can explore strengths, values, and areas for growth, and create meaningful goals and action plans that support your personal well-being.

I believe in guiding—not directing—so that you feel empowered to take ownership of your journey. To help keep momentum between sessions, I may offer practical tools, strategies, or “homework” that encourage reflection and accountability. My goal is to provide both support and structure, so you feel encouraged, capable, and confident as you move forward.
