Great to meet you!

I work with clients of all ages and issues/needs. I have a particular interest in those who are grieving, an experience that is difficult for anyone, particularly a young person who is just beginning to grasp language and how language relates to feelings. I am also well accommodated to help clients manage and process trauma/traumatic experiences with knowledge and guidance regarding the sympathetic nervous system/mind and body connectivity.

My approach to therapy

My main specialty is equine assisted psychotherapy through the EAGALA model which provides an open-ended, solutions focused therapy style in which the client interacts with horses and reflects on their experience. It is a helpful medium for those who do not typically feel comfortable or respond well in talk therapy. In talk therapy, I utilize a combination of evidence based practices and empathy, aiming to help others find their own solutions through a non-judgmental, supportive approach.

What you can expect from me

It is my hope that in working with my clients, they will feel heard and be able to set reasonable, healthy goals to improve their outlook and day-to-day living. Please feel free to reach out!
