Great to meet you!

Many people come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns they can’t quite explain — anxiety that keeps returning, relationship struggles, lingering effects of trauma, or a sense of disconnection from themselves and others. Therapy can be a place to slow down, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and begin shifting patterns that no longer serve you. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, addiction, neurodivergence, and life transitions. Together we explore your experiences with curiosity and care while building practical tools for emotional regulation, resilience, and more authentic relationships.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, practical, and depth-oriented. I work with clients to understand the patterns beneath anxiety, trauma, and relationship challenges while also building tools that support real change in daily life.

Together we explore what’s happening in the moment—within your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and nervous system—so you can respond with greater awareness rather than feeling stuck in automatic reactions. Many clients come in feeling overwhelmed or caught in repeating patterns, and therapy can help bring clarity to why these patterns show up and how they can begin to shift.

My work integrates relational therapy, somatic awareness, and evidence-based practices such as CBT and DBT. This combination allows us to address both the deeper roots of your experiences and practical strategies for regulating emotions, managing stress, and strengthening boundaries.

My goal is to create a thoughtful, non-judgmental space where you can explore what matters most and build lasting resilience.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to slow down and begin understanding what has brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about the challenges you’re facing, patterns you may be noticing, and what you hope might change in your life or relationships. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable moving at your own pace.

You can also expect the session to be collaborative. I may ask thoughtful questions to better understand your experiences, your history, and what has or hasn’t helped in the past. Together we’ll begin identifying goals for our work and discussing approaches that may support you.

Many clients also appreciate leaving the first session with something practical. When appropriate, I may introduce simple tools for grounding, emotional regulation, or managing stress so you have something supportive to take with you between sessions.

Most importantly, the first meeting is a chance for both of us to see if working together feels like a good fit. Therapy works best when there is trust, openness, and a sense of collaboration, and this session helps us begin building that foundation.
