Great to meet you!

I'm an anxiety specialist and have been a therapist for over 8 years. I use somatic based therapies as well as Acceptance and Commitment based therapy.

My approach to therapy

Part of working with me is acknowledging that the process may look different than what you expect. Since we're trying to guide your awareness to a calmer place, it might not help to have a deadpan, serious therapist staring you down from across the screen. I tend to keep our sessions on the looser side, not because I don't take your situation seriously, but because the looseness is part of the medicine. Our anxiety can lock us up and keep us rigid, and being able to smile, laugh, and be playful all help to overcome the pressures in our minds and lead them to a calmer, less activated state.

What you can expect from me

The first session usually involves us collaborating to investigate what's going on, what you're noticing in your experience, and how we might create a plan to help you overcome your symptoms. Thank you for considering me - I look forward to working together!
