Great to meet you!

I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Counseling from East Carolina University and am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS). My professional experience includes working in both community mental health and private practice settings, where I have supported adolescents and adults with a wide range of concerns and life experiences.

I am passionate about helping individuals navigate stress, trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and substance use concerns. I understand that reaching out for help can feel overwhelming, and I strive to create a welcoming, supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and understood.

I work with both teens and adults who may be struggling with emotional challenges, life transitions, trauma, relationship concerns, mood disorders, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. My goal is to help clients build insight, develop effective coping strategies, and move toward a life that feels more balanced, meaningful, and aligned with their values.

My approach to therapy

My approach is individualized and grounded in evidence-based practices, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills. I believe therapy is most effective when it is collaborative, practical, and tailored to each person's unique strengths, goals, and experiences.

What you can expect from me

Clients often find me to be warm, genuine, and approachable. I value creating a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust and authenticity while providing thoughtful guidance and support throughout the healing process. Whether you are seeking relief from current struggles or working toward personal growth, I am committed to helping you build the skills and confidence needed to move forward.
