Great to meet you!

I am one of the most open-minded, non-judgmental people you will ever work with. I am curious about you, your life, and what brought you to therapy. I have worked with a wide range of clients from adults in custody with substance use disorders to vulnerable populations with serious mental illness. I have worked with adult clients all over the world amassing a wealth of knowledge. I am also addicted to learning and continually train on techniques that will help my clients.

My approach to therapy

For trauma, I use an integrated somatic approach using a combination of Applied Polyvagal Theory and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT). I also use Internal Family Systems (IFS). I'll teach you skills to move out of hyperarousal or hypoarousal and into the optimal zone where you find peace and contentment. The past will no longer negatively impact your present and you can start to look forward to the future. My clients see significant improvement after just 90 days as evidenced by improved assessment scores.

What you can expect from me

Initial sessions will be focused on getting to know you and understanding where you've been and where you'd like to be. You'll complete some initial assessments that we will use to monitor progress. We will create an individualized treatment plan with clear goals, objectives and timelines. You can expect unconditional acceptance and an open mind from me as we work together to meet your goals as I help you to create a life of wellbeing.
