Great to meet you!

I'm a licensed psychologist who believes that healing happens through connection with ourselves, each other, and the world we're trying to change. I draw on relational approaches, creative expression, and the wisdom of the body alongside traditional talk therapy. I am also a certified spiritual director, singer, songwriter, and community songleader. I am deeply committed to supporting healers, leaders, and activists. I offer telehealth therapy to adults throughout North Carolina during weekday daytime hours.

My approach to therapy

I believe there is no single path to change. What works for one person may not work for another, and what you need today may be different from what you need a year from now. At the core, I am a relational therapist, which means the relationship we build together is part of how healing happens. I work within a feminist, multicultural framework and draw on psychodynamic, mindfulness, somatic, and expressive/creative approaches. Talking alone doesn't reach our deepest pain. The body, felt emotions, and creativity can open doors that words cannot. I move at your pace, and I'll gently challenge you when that seems useful. My job is to help you see what's in the way and to recognize what's already remarkable about you.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. This will be after our free consultation, so we can dive a little deeper. I'll want to hear what's bringing you to therapy and what you're hoping for, but there's no pressure to have it all figured out or tell me everything at once. You'll have space to ask questions, and we may even begin exploring some practices that can start supporting your goals right away.
