Great to meet you!

I take a humanistic/existential approach, focused on developing a solid therapeutic rapport with my clients. My goal is to help my clients become self aware of their strengths, weaknesses, insecurities, harmful thinking patterns, and maladaptive behaviors. After identifying these traits, we work together to improve these areas. It's not a matter of right or wrong but whether your thoughts and behaviors are helpful or harmful. Are you getting your desired results?

My approach to therapy

I use a humanistic approach in my counseling sessions. No judgment, only therapist, a client, and your goals. I began working in the mental health field in 2006 serving children, adults, and families throughout the Charlotte metro area. I worked in hospital, community, school, and government settings. In 2016, I earned my Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling providing school based services and practicing in the hospital setting working with adults and children ages 12-65.

What you can expect from me

I will never say that I have seen it all but I've certainly had my rose colored glasses removed so please don't feel hesitant about being transparent. My goal is simply to help you be the best version of yourself!
