My approach to therapy

I seek to create a relationship with my clients in which you can feel comfortable exploring your thoughts and emotions to discover new opportunities for growth and change, promoting more authentic and satisfying ways of living.

I am here to work with, support, and challenge you in ways that can help improve your relationship with yourself and with others.

I tend to practice from a humanistic stance, using IFS, mindfulness techniques, and person-centered modalities.

What you can expect from me

Though all clients have different goals and needs, I tend to work with clients in 1) reflecting on one's past and how it impacts our present, 2) ways of improving our current distress, both in ourselves and in relation to the people in our lives, and 3) broadening our self concept, so we can breathe a bit easier and feel less constrained by unfair/unreasonable expectations and 'shoulds'.

Gender, sexuality, trauma, religious trauma, and relationships are common topics of exploration.
