Great to meet you!

Hi! As a licensed psychologist with over 20 years of experience, I'm incredibly proud to say that I've worked in multiple settings with people from diverse backgrounds. I've most often worked with African-American men and women, Veterans, individuals suffering from depression, trauma, stress, relationship dysfunction, and substance abuse. Regardless of the issue, the initial question has always been the same: "How can I help this person navigate their world, and become the best version of themselves in the process?"

My approach to therapy

The road to change can be challenging, lonely, and sometimes terrifying. Thus, it's often helpful to have some company, someone who will walk beside you, wherever that road may lead. My approach to therapy is to actively listen as we explore together, offer encouragement and insight, and provide you with the skills to continue the journey.

What you can expect from me

Your road to change will always start with a thorough conversation about who you are, where you have been, and where you ultimately want to go. Working together, we'll create an environment that will allow you to explore the thoughts, feelings and behaviors that have blocked your path, as well as the strength and hope to overcome them.
