Great to meet you!

I studied Music at the University of Michigan and Positive Psychology at San Francisco State University, eventually earning my Bachelor of Science in Human and Community Services from State University of New York. I obtained my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Maryland. Before becoming a therapist, I spent two decades working in television production in New York City. It was in that professional role I initially discovered my ability to help people open up, reflect and discover their own answers and inner truths.

My approach to therapy

I embrace and incorporate Eastern philosophy, purpose and mindfulness in my treatment modalities and believe working with breath, establishing healthy boundaries and improved health are the starting point from which healing and moments of joy can be obtained.

What you can expect from me

I use a multi-pronged approach to therapy and no two sessions are the same. I believe the whole body is involved in healing, not just the head. Sometimes simply talking won't always get you the results you are looking for. I will help you develop a tool kit so that you can utilize these skills between sessions and eventually on your own.
