Great to meet you!

I am Leslie N. Casiano, a personable, bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas who believes Counseling is for everyone in searching to overcome life obstacles. I received an undergrad degree in Health from Texas A&M University-College Station during 2012. I went on to obtain a Master's degree in Counseling from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi in 2017. I have over 8 years' experience working along a wide age range of clients including adults, adolescents, children from diverse cultural backgrounds. I help individuals facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, stress, self-esteem, life transitions, parenting issues, family issues and women's issues.

My approach to therapy

I believe healing and progress can be obtained through a collaborative approach to therapy. I have skills set in CBT, Person Centered, DBT, Solution Focused and Client centered approach. I have been able to help people facing a variety of challenges such as depression, anxiety, stress, behavioral challenges, low self-esteem, life transitions and several other mental health concerns. My goal is to offer clients a non-judgmental space where anyone feels safe to face their struggles and challenges. My Counseling style is compassionate, warm, engaging, holistic and have a down-to-earth approach. I believe all adults, adolescents and children facing common mental health challenges have individualized needs, therefore require a unique treatment approach.

What you can expect from me

Often, we may feel life challenges and struggles should be dealt with alone. Or we have finally run into a dead end and run out of ideas on how to handle life struggles on our own. However, this is far from the truth and we can work together to reach your goals in a safe, welcoming space in therapy. The decision to start Therapy can feel unfamiliar and scary, however it would be my honor to begin to overcome those fears and begin this journey of improvement and change with you after beginning treatment.
