With a warm, client-centered approach, I believe therapy should be tailored to you-your needs, goals and personal strengths. Beginning with our first session, I take the time to truly listen and make an effort to understand your story, conducing a thorough bio-psycho-social assessment to ensure that we create a treatment plan that works for you. Above all, I believe that healing happens in a safe, supportive and collaborative space. I check-in with my clients regularly, ensuring progress is being made and that they feel truly heard and understood.
I have extensive experience treating Complex PTSD, particularly for individuals who have endured sexual, physical, or emotional abuse. My background includes working in Acute Crisis Inpatient Care, leading PTSD-focused group therapy, and coordinating with St. Luke’s Hospital for pain management treatment. I am a Certified EMDR Therapist through the EMDR International Association, using Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing to help clients process and heal from trauma. Additionally, I am a Certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (CBT) and a Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapist through Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
