Great to meet you!

Clients often share that they appreciate my calm, grounded, and approachable style. I’ve been practicing for over 10 years, supporting adults from all walks of life as they navigate anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, burnout, life transitions, and more. I work with people from all backgrounds and identities, and I strive to create a space where every client feels respected, heard, and truly seen.

While I have a strong passion for working with BIPOC clients—helping folks process cultural identity, systemic stress, and intergenerational trauma—I welcome and work with clients of all races, ethnicities, gender identities, and lived experiences. I also bring a personal lens to supporting individuals and families affected by ADHD, as I live this experience every day as a partner and parent. I understand how ADHD can impact relationships, communication, and emotional regulation, and I aim to help clients build awareness, compassion, and practical tools that actually work for real life.

Therapy with me is a collaborative process. You don’t need to show up with all the answers—I’ll meet you where you are, and we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, culturally responsive, and strengths-based. I blend evidence-based tools like CBT, DBT, and mindfulness with a relational, affirming style—because growth happens when you feel safe and seen. For BIPOC clients especially, I hold space for the realities of racism, intergenerational trauma, code-switching, family pressures, and the weight of constantly “pushing through.” I also bring a neurodiversity-affirming lens to support folks navigating ADHD, whether you’re formally diagnosed or still exploring what fits. My goal is to help you build clarity, develop practical coping strategies, and feel more grounded in your identity and power.

What you can expect from me

The first session is all about connection and comfort. I’ll ask about what’s bringing you in, what’s feeling heavy, and what you hope to get out of therapy. I’ll also ask some background questions to understand your story, but we’ll go at a pace that feels right for you. There’s no pressure to be polished or “therapized”—just come as you are. You can expect me to show up with warmth, a few clarifying questions, maybe a laugh or two, and a commitment to helping you feel seen without judgment. My goal is to co-create a space where you feel safe, respected, and ready to start doing the work that matters to you.
