Great to meet you!

Hey friend, I’m Lex

All Out Psychotherapy & Consultation is place for BIPOC LGBTQ+ adults to explore and understand themselves with the support of a queer Black woman therapist who has been there and will walk with you the entire way.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me is empathetic, engaging, and empowering. I offer this space for you to be yourself and to know that you will always be welcomed. Sometimes we feel like our stuff is too much. Here, I will always have a place for you to unpack.

Regarding modalities, I primarily utilize Trauma-Informed Psychodynamic Psychotherapy with elements of Somatic Experiencing, DBT, and Relational Therapy. This means that therapy will involve exploring early childhood attachments and experiences, learning and using somatic exercises to help integrate a mind/body connection, and a solid base of trust and support.

What you can expect from me

Our first few sessions are for me to get to know you. This involves you sharing about your current life, your needs, and what’s been missing.

That is all.

This is a space where you can unapologetically be yourself and share all that you’ve been wanting to let out. From here, we collaborate on what is important to you and how to move forward.

My therapeutic style is person-centered and relational, which means that I am focused on empowering and supporting you. It also means that I love to hear you talk about you. Core to my therapeutic practice is mutual respect, trust, and communication.
