Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health who brings two decades of clinical experience to my work with adults and teens navigating life's challenges.

I specialize and have expertise in anxiety, depression, PTSD, and ADHD, I creates a grounded, supportive therapeutic space where clients can develop a deeper understanding of their mental health and build the skills they need to live life to its fullest. I am passionate about working with adults and teens who are going through difficult seasons, as well as first responders and military members who face unique pressures around work-life balance, stress, and the emotional demands of their service.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, and reality-based therapy to support meaningful, lasting change. CBT helps clients identify and reframe thought patterns that contribute to anxiety, depression, and stress. Motivational Interviewing empowers clients to overcome ambivalence and discover their own motivation for change, while mindfulness strengthens present-moment awareness and emotional regulation. Reality-based therapy keeps treatment practical and goal-oriented, helping clients develop actionable strategies to overcome challenges. Together, these approaches foster self-awareness, resilience, and the practical skills needed to create positive change

What you can expect from me

I always start with an introductory session, where you’ll have the opportunity to share your what brought you to therapy and what you hope to achieve in therapy. We’ll work together to figure this out! I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and being open, while also feeling secure. From there, we’ll work together in the sessions that follow to make these goals a reality for you.
