Great to meet you!

If you find yourself in a transition in your life, feeling overwhelmed or stuck, talking to a trained professional counselor who is not part of your everyday life can help you to find a fresh perspective and create new solutions. I will both listen and ask questions so that we can both identify a productive pathway forward. As an LMFT/ LPCC in California, my approach is empathetic, strength based and solution focused, and I look forward to supporting you in reaching your life goals, both emotional and practical. Please feel free to contact me for a phone consultation if you think that we might be a good fit to work together. I look forward to hearing from you.

My approach to therapy

My style is cooperative and conversational. As a client, you will set your goals for therapy and we will develop strategies to reach your goals, checking in occasionally to see if we are on track or if our focus has changed. Often therapy works like unpeeling layers of the onion, and presenting issues can help clients heal deeper unconscious challenges that become more clear in the process of therapy. I work with both short and long-term therapy, depending on my client’s needs.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will talk about your reasons for coming to therapy, and you can give me whatever background you think would be helpful for our work. You will also have a chance to ask me any questions you have about the way I work.
