Great to meet you!

I'm a master's level social work clinician with over thirteen years of experience.

My approach to therapy

Only you truly know what you've been through, your current circumstances and where you want to go - or maybe you're not yet certain about where you want to go, nor how to get there. My job is to be present as you navigate along the path toward your best health, happiness and wellness, supporting you with practical strategies and evidence-based tools. I'm a generalist, so have training and experience in many areas. My foundation and style are primarily aligned with Humanistic psychology. I have extensive experience with trauma focused therapy, as well as treatment for anxiety and depression.

What you can expect from me

Your comfort and needs regarding therapeutic rapport are of top importance. The first session is an opportunity to meet, connect and assess. Typically, we'll discuss your circumstances, identify your goals and develop an initial care plan. By the end of the first session, we will likely have a roadmap, or at least an initial plan of action, for moving closer toward your goal(s). Of course, it's a time for you to ask questions and/or obtain additional information.
