Great to meet you!

Linda is a Licensed Practicing Counselor, (LPC), with 10 years’ experience. She has a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and she has a Master’s in Higher Education: She is trained in various trauma interventions, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral therapy. She provides culturally responsive care to diverse populations.

My approach to therapy

Currently, she leans toward Brief Solution Therapy, (4 -10 sessions, and EAP), which focuses on solutions to problems rather than the diagnosis. She uses an eclectic, Rogerian style of therapeutic intervention which includes Person-Centered, CBT, Insight Oriented, Faith Based, and Existential therapies in order to meet a broad scope of client needs.

What you can expect from me

Hope! What makes her unique is her ability to instill hope for change. She is driven to help others better understand themselves, to navigate through life’s difficulties and overcome obstacles; to build capacity for well-being, love, peace, and happiness . . . which leads to productive, healthy, meaningful lives.
