As a licensed Psychotherapist for over 30 years, you already have my heartfelt understand and congratulations on taking this often difficult step! I believe in change and growth and find that often Humor is THE Best Medicine, even in very difficult times.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I believe that the the most important and effective element in therapy is the relationship between client and therapist. If we are a match, know that you are the driver and I am the GPS. This means is that your experience and communication is what drives the experience and I will offer "course corrections" much like a GPS are born out of my experience as a therapist and my own life lessons. My clients report feeling respected, listened to, and supported.

What you can expect from our first session

I always start with an introductory session, where you’ll have the opportunity to share your story and what you hope to achieve in therapy. We’ll work together to figure this out! I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable, while also feeling secure. From there, we’ll work together in the sessions that follow to make these goals a reality for you.
