Great to meet you!

With 20 years of experience, I've learned that people come to therapy for all kinds of reasons, and there is no single approach that works for everyone. I work with adults across a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, trauma, grief, ADHD, OCD, substance use, and major life transitions.

My style is warm, empowering, and down-to-earth. I want therapy to be a place where you can speak openly, better understand what's happening beneath the surface, and work toward changes that feel meaningful in your everyday life. Together, we'll build on your strengths, develop practical ways to cope with what's challenging you, and help you move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is most effective when you feel understood, respected, and actively involved in the process. I'll take time to understand your experiences, strengths, and goals rather than assuming the same approach will work for everyone. Our work may involve understanding patterns, processing difficult experiences, strengthening relationships, managing emotions, or developing practical strategies for challenges in your everyday life.

I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, strengths-based therapy, and trauma-focused care. My approach is flexible and collaborative, allowing us to focus on what is most relevant to you while working toward meaningful, sustainable change.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know one another and understand what you'd like support with. You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what to say or where to begin. We'll start with what feels most important to you and build from there.

You can expect me to be warm, engaged, and honest in our work together. I'll listen without judgment, ask thoughtful questions, and help you recognize both the patterns that may be keeping you stuck and the strengths you already have. With two decades of experience to draw from, my goal is to offer both perspective and practical support so that therapy leads to changes you can carry into your life outside of our sessions.
