Great to meet you!

Welcome! I'm so glad you're here. If you've been feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, trauma, addiction, chronic stress, or life experiences that seem to keep repeating themselves, you're not alone. Healing is possible, even if it doesn't feel that way today. I'm Linda Milewski, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience helping adults navigate life's most difficult moments. My goal is to help you feel safe, understood, and empowered as we work toward lasting change together.

Throughout my career, I've worked in inpatient psychiatric hospitals, addiction treatment centers, mental health agencies, and wellness settings, supporting individuals facing trauma, substance use, mood disorders, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My training includes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, mindfulness, Nonviolent Communication (NVC), trauma informed care, and addiction treatment. My international experience and passion for whole person healing have shaped a compassionate, integrative approach that honors both the mind and body.

My approach to therapy

I believe meaningful healing begins when you feel safe. Therapy with me is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique experiences rather than a one size fits all approach. Together, we'll explore not only your thoughts and emotions but also how stress and trauma may be affecting your nervous system, relationships, and daily life. I integrate evidence based therapies like CBT and DBT with somatic techniques, mindfulness, Solution Focused Therapy, and Nonviolent Communication to help you better understand yourself, regulate emotions, and create healthier patterns. My goal is to help you move beyond simply managing symptoms so you can experience greater resilience, deeper self awareness, stronger boundaries, and authentic connection with yourself and others.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you've been carrying your struggles on your own for a long time. My priority during our first session is helping you feel comfortable, heard, and accepted without judgment. We'll spend time getting to know your story, exploring what has brought you to therapy, identifying your strengths, and discussing what healing looks like for you. You can expect a warm, supportive conversation where we begin building trust, creating a sense of safety, and developing a personalized path forward. Together, we'll work toward breaking unhealthy patterns, strengthening emotional resilience, and helping you build a life that feels more peaceful, authentic, and connected.
