Great to meet you!

With years of experience as a licensed clinical professional counselor, I offer a grounded, Maine‐rooted approach to mental health.Growing up in a place where people meet hard seasons with grit, humor, and heart has shaped the way I sit with clients today. I ask steady, thoughtful questions—the kind that help you hear your own wisdom and find your bearings again. You don’t have to navigate life’s rough waters alone; together, we’ll chart a course that feels true to who you are and where you come from. I especially welcome women in transition, dealing with stress, needing support with communication and relationships-just feeling overwhelmed. Please reach out today.

My approach to therapy

I meet each of my clients exactly where they are, using plainspoken, practical Maine wisdom to guide the work. For some folks, sitting and talking things through is what helps. Others are looking for steady guidance and support as they navigate a tough stretch. And plenty of people want a more solution‐focused, “let’s figure out what’s next” approach. Whatever someone needs, we choose the path that fits them best—nothing fancy, nothing forced, just honest, thoughtful care.

What you can expect from me

Your first session with me is easygoing and very conversational. I want to get a feel for who you are, what life looks like for you right now, and what kind of support actually makes sense. We take our time, build some rapport, and start to sketch out the path you’re on—or the one you’d like to be on. By the end of that first hour, I’ll invite you to choose one small, doable next step. Nothing overwhelming, nothing dramatic—just a simple, honest “baby step” in the right direction, the way folks around here tend to tackle most things: steady, practical, and one piece at a time.
