Great to meet you!

Sometimes it feels like you're carrying more than anyone else realizes. Anxiety, depression, painful experiences, parenting responsibilities, cultural expectations, or major life changes can leave you feeling emotionally exhausted and unsure of how to move forward. You may be taking care of everyone else while struggling to care for yourself. You don't have to keep doing it alone. I partner with individuals experiencing anxiety, stress management, panic disorder, cultural and ethnic issues, and trauma so they can build resilience, strengthen relationships, and create a greater sense of balance and confidence in their everyday lives. Working with adolescents, adults, and families, I strive to create a compassionate, culturally responsive environment where you feel genuinely heard, respected, and empowered to grow. Over the past ten years, I’ve had the joy of working with wonderful, diverse communities—from LGBTQIA2S+ and BIPOC individuals to those navigating mental illness, homelessness, and co-occurring challenges. As a child of immigrants myself, I truly understand the cultural barriers around mental health. I’m here to help break down those walls and create a warm, safe space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported.

My approach to therapy

Together, we'll explore the experiences, emotions, relationships, and beliefs that have shaped your life while identifying the strengths you can continue building on throughout your healing journey. My goal is to help you better understand yourself while developing practical tools that create meaningful, lasting change beyond our sessions. My approach incorporates Psychodynamic Family Therapy, Positive Psychology, Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) because every client deserves care that is individualized, collaborative, and grounded in what will best support their unique goals and experiences. Together, we can work through ADHD, OCD, eating disorders, PTSD, anger management, relationship issues, family conflict, emotional regulation, life transitions, and women's issues, while creating practical strategies that support meaningful progress both inside and outside of therapy.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a welcoming, compassionate relationship where you feel accepted, respected, and encouraged from the very first session. I'll meet you with empathy, honesty, and curiosity while helping you recognize your strengths, celebrate your progress, and navigate life's challenges with greater confidence. Whether you're healing from trauma, adjusting to major life changes, strengthening family relationships, or managing anxiety and stress, we'll work together at a pace that feels right for you while building practical tools that continue supporting your growth long after therapy ends. My hope is that you leave each session feeling more grounded, more resilient, and more confident in your ability to move forward.
