Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Linda, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience supporting individuals and families through trauma, life transitions, and complex systems like healthcare, disability services, and community resources. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed or unsure where to start, and together we slow things down and make sense of what they’ve been carrying. I specialize in trauma work using EMDR and take a neurodivergent affirming, strengths based approach that honors each person’s lived experience. My goal is to create a grounded, supportive space where you can process, reconnect with yourself, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, trauma informed, and grounded in curiosity rather than judgment. I help clients slow down and understand the patterns, experiences, and nervous system responses that may be keeping them stuck. I often use EMDR to support trauma processing, along with practical tools for regulation, reflection, and building self trust. I also work from a neurodivergent affirming perspective and recognize the impact that systems, identity, and life experiences can have on mental health. My goal is to create a space where clients feel supported, understood, and empowered to move forward in a way that feels authentic to them.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is to create a space where you can begin to settle in and feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, what you’ve been navigating recently, and what you hope might feel different or better moving forward. I may ask questions about your history, support systems, and current stressors so I can understand the full picture of your experiences. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals for therapy and discuss approaches that may be helpful, including EMDR if trauma processing becomes part of our work. Most importantly, the first session is about building connection and helping you feel supported as we begin the process.
