Great to meet you!

I became a provider after navigating my own mental health challenges in childhood, a time when I often felt unheard and unseen. This difficulty increased my interest in Mental Health greatly. I sought a degree in Psychology, then a second degree in Nursing. After working as an registered nurse (RN), I began working on my master's degree in nursing to attain my goal of working with clients needing support with their own mental health struggles. My goal is to be the provider I once needed—someone who listens with empathy, creates a sense of safety, and helps patients gain knowledge and tools to grow and heal.

My approach to therapy

I value open, down-to-earth conversations and a judgment-free space. I listen first, ask thoughtful questions, and partner with patients to create realistic, supportive treatment plans that fit their lives. I also prioritize education, so patients feel informed, empowered, and confident in their care.

I collaborate with patients by listening to what matters most to them and turning those priorities into realistic, achievable goals. I help patients understand that goals can evolve as symptoms, insight, and life circumstances change. Together, we adjust plans, track progress, and build skills that support lasting growth and meaningful improvement.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really just a chance for me to get to know you. We’ll talk about your background and what’s bringing you into treatment. It’s totally normal to feel a little nervous at first. Mental health treatment is a process, and we’ll build things together over time—taking it one step at a time.
