Great to meet you!

Clients should know that I strive to create a space where they feel genuinely heard, respected, and accepted without judgment. I believe the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important parts of treatment, so I focus on building trust while also being honest, compassionate, and collaborative.

I have experience working with adults, adolescents, and teens, with particular interest in psychotic disorders, personality disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, and complex mental health concerns. My approach is individualized because I recognize that every client's experiences, strengths, and goals are unique.

Clients can expect me to meet them where they are, help them develop practical skills, and support them in making meaningful, lasting changes at a pace that feels achievable. My goal is not only to help clients navigate current challenges but also to empower them with the confidence and tools to continue growing long after therapy ends.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is rooted in psychodynamic therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), strengths-based practice, and Motivational Interviewing. While evidence-based interventions are important, I believe meaningful change begins with the therapeutic relationship. I strive to understand each client's experiences, values, and strengths.

I believe therapy should feel approachable rather than intimidating. Seeking help is already difficult, and I want clients to know they don't have to leave their personality at the door.

Above all, I believe in being a person first and a therapist second. While maintaining professional boundaries, I value authenticity, empathy, and genuine human connection. Clients deserve to feel like they are sitting with someone who is present, engaged, and invested in their growth; not simply someone applying techniques from a textbook.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect the first session to feel more like a conversation than an interrogation. My priority is getting to know who they are as a person, not just why they came to therapy. While we'll cover the information needed to understand their concerns, I also want to learn about their strengths, values, relationships, and what they hope life could look like if therapy is successful.
