Great to meet you!

Hello I am Lisa Butler a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS). I am a retired school social worker; I also worked for 10 years in the juvenile justice system as a part-time therapist. Ive been in full time private practice for the past 4 years. I have worked with clients ranging from 5 years old up to 85. I desire to help each client find freedom from the past so they can live free and abundantly in the present and build a more successful future. I am a certified in both EMDR and SPARCS along with several substance abuse evidence-based programs as well.

My approach to therapy

My go to approach is listening, finding out where the client is and where they want to go then navigating the best approach we both feel will work. I believe therapy is about the client finding their inner strength to navigate this complex thing called life. We all can use better coping skills and positive ways of dealing with life's stress and negative encounters.

What you can expect from me

My goal is for every client to feel empowered to face the trials of life through their inner strength and improved skill base.
