Great to meet you!

You’re not here to “fix” them—you’re here to walk with them. You bring deep experience, presence, and honesty to the work, and you believe real change happens through relationship, not perfection. You’re trauma-informed, attuned to nervous systems, and you understand recovery, resilience, and transformation not just academically, but lived and embodied.

You create a space that is safe and real—where clients can be messy, curious, resistant, grieving, growing, or wildly alive. You value accountability without shame, compassion without coddling, and growth that’s sustainable rather than performative.

Clients should know that you will:

  • Meet them where they are, without judgment
  • Tell the truth with care and clarity
  • Respect their pace while still inviting courage
  • See their wholeness, not just their pain

And maybe most importantly: you believe healing isn’t about becoming someone new—it’s about reclaiming who they already are.

My approach to therapy

My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and rooted in the belief that healing happens through safety, connection, and lived experience—not just insight. I work with the whole person: nervous system, emotions, body, relationships, and meaning. Therapy with me is collaborative and attuned; we move at your pace while gently inviting growth and honesty.

I don’t see symptoms as problems to eliminate, but as intelligent responses to what you’ve lived through. Together, we get curious about patterns, build capacity for regulation and choice, and practice new ways of being—both in session and in real life. I integrate evidence-based modalities with somatic awareness, attachment theory, and a deep respect for the wisdom each client already carries.

At its core, my work is about helping clients move from survival to aliveness—cultivating resilience, agency, and authentic connection. This is not about quick fixes or forced positivity, but about sustainable change that honors your story and supports lasting transformation.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about getting to know you and creating a sense of safety and ease. There’s no pressure to tell your whole story or have everything figured out. We’ll start where you are. I’ll ask some questions to understand what brings you in, what you’re hoping for, and what feels most important right now—but you’re always in control of what you share.

We’ll also talk about how therapy works, how I approach the work, and what support might look like for you. My focus is on helping you feel grounded, respected, and understood. If helpful, we may do some gentle resourcing or grounding so you leave feeling more settled than when you arrived.

This session is as much about you getting a feel for me as it is about me getting to know you. You can expect presence, honesty, and compassion—without judgment or pressure. By the end, most clients have a clearer sense of whether this feels like a good fit and what the next steps could be.
