Great to meet you!

I began my journey as a therapist in 2011 as a graduate student at NC A & T State University, and graduated in December 2013. My undergraduate degree is from High Point University. I am a LCMHC who specializes in Depression, Anxiety, Autism, Trauma, and Bipolar Disorder. As someone who became a therapist later in life, I feel that I bring life experience and am able to support all ages. I have extensive experience working with kids and adults with Autism and their families.

My approach to therapy

I meet clients where they are, without expectations of where they "should" be. I offer support and encouragement to help you get to where you want to be and to become the best you possible. I utilize many different types of therapy and we will find the one that fits you! Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and EMDR are some of the modalities that I use. We are not limited to these, as I utilize others as well.

What you can expect from me

You should feel heard and supported. One of the most important parts of therapy is to feel comfortable with your therapist. I'm here to help and support you. I feel that being a therapist is such an important role and I hope you can find what it is you are looking for during our time in therapy.
