Great to meet you!

I believe therapy is most effective when you feel genuinely heard, respected, and comfortable being yourself. My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative, while also being practical and focused on helping you create meaningful change in your everyday life.

I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, mood instability, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, and times when life simply feels overwhelming. I understand that reaching out for support is a personal decision, and I strive to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where you can talk openly about what you are experiencing.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is integrative, collaborative, and tailored to the individual needs of each client. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship begins with creating a safe, trusting, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable being yourself and exploring the experiences that have shaped you.

I draw from several therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, person-centered therapy, mindfulness, behavioral interventions, strength-based techniques, and trauma-informed care. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I work with you to understand what is happening in your life, identify patterns that may be getting in your way, and determine what strategies will be most helpful for you.

My style is warm, authentic, supportive, and open-minded, but I also believe therapy should help you move toward meaningful change. Together, we will build on your strengths, develop practical coping skills, and work toward greater confidence and resilience. My goal is not only to help you manage the challenges you are experiencing today, but also to help you recognize your own ability to create the life and future you want.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where we can begin getting to know one another. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I’ll ask questions to better understand your background, current concerns, strengths, and goals, but there is no pressure to share more than you feel comfortable discussing.

I view the first session as an opportunity for us to begin building trust and identifying what will be most helpful for you. Together, we’ll discuss your goals and develop an individualized plan for moving forward. Most importantly, you can expect to leave the first session with a clearer understanding of our next steps and knowing that you have a supportive partner in the therapeutic process.
